Is this service is really free of charge to me?

How can I be sure that TrySwitch are trustworthy?
In most cases the data we use to calculate your results is provided directly by the telephone companies. We monitor all suppliers continually and update our database to ensure our results are comprehensive and accurate. All of the companies we deal with are reputable and regulated to ensure you receive the highest standard of service.
We assure all users of this website that we will not use your personal details for cold-calling purposes or share them with third parties. TrySwitch.ie is a secure site trustworthy site.

Why should I compare service providers?
The rates on offer from one telephone company may be an excellent choice for one person but may not be the best for you. Most telephone companies charge different prices at different times of the day for local, national, international and mobile calls. Pricing structure varies and this can make it difficult for you to work out which supplier offers you the best deal. We do that for you.

By comparing what's on offer from all of the service providers based on how you make your telephone calls, We guarantee that we will find you the very best value for your money.

Can I keep my existing phone number?
In most cases Yes. But, please check with your new service provider.

Can my current supplier prevent me from switching to a new supplier for any reason?
No. However, if you have an outstanding bill for a period of 28 days or longer, you may be unable to switch service providers until you have paid the outstanding amount. TrySwitch recommends that you clear any outstanding debts before you change companies.

What should I consider when choosing a new service provider?
If you are thinking of switching, these are some of the issues you need to consider:

- Would you like to deal with the same company for phone and broadband?
- What methods of payment does your new supplier offer?
- Do they have a satisfactory customer service record?
- How much will their call rate save you overall on your bill?

Is there a minimum contract if I switch?
Some companies may require this. For example, some broadband suppliers may require you to sign-up for six months. However, for most phone companies there is NO MINIMUM CONTRACT. But, please check with your new service provider.

How long does it take to switch?
Between 10 days to 14 days.

Will there by any disruption?
None whatsoever. Your new telephone company will use the same cables running into your house that are used at the moment. The only change you will notice is the figure at the bottom of your telephone bill each month!

What is the minimum call charge?
This is basically the minimum amount of money your service provider will charge you to connect any call.

What is minimum call duration?
This is the minimum amount you are charged for making a telephone call. Some companies will charge per second while some will charge you for the first three minutes or more.

What payment options will save me money?
Some telephone companies require their customers to pay either by direct debit or by credit card. You may be charged extra if you decide to pay by other methods. Please note that some telephone companies implement a late payment fee.

When can I change my service provider?
You can change supplier any time you like. The Irish telephone market has been open to competition since 1998. Since then, all Irish consumers have the right to choose which company supplies them with their telephone calls.

If I decide to switch, do I need to contact my current service provider?
You may be required to.

Evening means 6pm – 8am
Weekend means Friday 6pm – Monday 8am
And unlimited free call anytime is subject 60 minutes redial.
